MANLIUS RADON MITIGATION SYSTEM

Click on picture for full views. 1800's house, rock wall foundation with high radon of +50 pCi/L, reduced to post mitigation radon level of 1.4 pCi/L. This was a difficult job that required sealing many cracks and multiple drains in floor. In a second phase of work, we added a second suction point and upsized to a more powerful radon fan.

EXTERIOR MOUNTED RADON FANS

Click on picture to see the full picture. These are examples of the most common retrofitted type of radon system with exterior fans and vent pipes up to or above the roof. I refer to these as American style that follow the old EPA mitigation standards. All of these systems are using 3-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe for the vent pipes. You will notice various size fans that come in white or gray. The first picture is of a PVC fan housing that covers the radon fan.
